PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The agri-food market in Jimbolia (Timiș County) was a typical project that was very suitable for wooden farms with 2 slopes . The prefabrication technology with multi-nail connectors proved to be an optimal technical-economic solution for this project, from several points of view:
✅ built area 600sqm;
✅ 20m opening, without support pillars;
✅ ridge height of 3m;
✅ wood certified according to resistance class C24;
✅ fire retardant and insect-fungicide treated wood;
✅ connection with stamped metal connectors MiTek, according to the requirements of the European standard EN14545: 2008;
✅ design according to EUROCODE 5 in specialized software for optimizing the consumption of wood and connectors.
The production of the farms lasted 6 days and the assembly with the crane 4 days. Fixing the trusses on the existing structure was made of metal fastening members: corners and anchors.
More in the workshop, less in the construction site!
