TIMBER FRAME HOUSE KIT
WHAT IS A TIMBER FRAME HOUSE KIT?
Timber frame is the most efficient wooden construction system. The timber frame wooden house kit is the "red" equivalent of a wooden house. It only contains the wooden structure, exterior cladding, and mounting accessories. The wooden structure consists of exterior and interior walls, floor of plain cement concrete, strut beams, and a roof made of wooden trusses.
CE CONȚINE UN KIT DE STRUCTURĂ TIMBERFRAME
WHAT DOES A TIMBER FRAME HOUSE KIT CONTAIN?
Autoclaved or impregnated wood with certified sole;
A waterproofing membrane is applied under the soleplate to prevent moisture from passing through the concrete into the wooden structure;
Wood screws, threaded rods, mechanical and chemical anchors;
Corners of metal for fastening wooden elements and anchoring the wooden structure to the concrete foundation (calculated in the strength design and CE certified);
EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR WALLS
Timber frame structure 45x145 or 45x200mm;
Exterior cladding: OSB3, DHF, Vidiwall, fiber cement, or Steico wood rigid thermal insulation boards;
Timber frame structure 45x100mm non-load-bearing walls or 45x145mm load-bearing walls;
Walls can be delivered without cladding or with a single-sided OSB3 or Vidiwall cladding;
FLOOR OVER GROUND FLOOR OR LAST LEVEL
Posi-joists and lamellar wooden beams of different thicknesses, depending on the openings (openings of up to 9m);
A layer of 22mm OSB3 over the floor beams;
Floor above last level
In the case of a terrace roof, posi-joists or wooden lattice beams are used (the upper sole of which will give the slope of the roof);
Prefabricated roof structure
Wooden trusses of various configurations, depending on the architecture: 2, 3, 4 or more slopes;
The lower sole of the trusses replaces the ceiling of the last level;
For attics: trusses have the great advantage of eliminating the supporting pillars in the middle;
The cover is mounted on the trusses: a uniform cladding on the entire surface of the roof and can be made of softwood board, OSB roofing board or DHF;
WHICH WOOD DO WE USE IN THE TIMBER FRAME KIT?
The most important element in the timber frame house kit is wood. We use softwood (fir, spruce, or pine), which is dried and planed on all four sides, has a maximum humidity of 17%, and is of strength class C24. After the wood is cut according to the project's specifications, it is treated with a 4-in-1 solution: anti-fungal, antiseptic, fireproof and moisture protection. With this wood, the production of structural elements begins: prefabricated walls, posi joists and wooden trusses.
All structures we produce (walls, beams, or trusses) are accompanied by a certificate of conformity for factory production, based on the EN14250 standard. We offer a 15-year warranty on the wooden structures. Moreover, the rest of the necessary materials are accompanied by data sheets and declarations of conformity.
WHERE DO WE BUILD WOODEN HOUSE KITS?
With a prefabricated system, distance is no longer an issue. Our factory is strategically located in Brezoi, the center of Romania. The prefabricated walls, beams, and trusses are loaded onto the truck(s) and delivered to your construction site in Romania and even Europe (as long as land transport is possible).
The assembly of the kits is either done manually (walls with a maximum length of 2.5m) or mechanically with lifting equipment. The construction system is assembled like a lego game. For example, an assembly team of four people can install a two-level 150m2 house in less than a week! We provide detailed installation plans for those who want to assemble on their own.

HOW MUCH DOES A TIMBERFRAME WOODEN HOUSE KIT COST?
A very good question. Without a project we cannot estimate the right price. That's why we offer you 2 options:
