PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The wooden church in the Ministry of National Defence yard in Bucharest is the first wooden church built from prefabricated trusses. The structure was designed and modeled in a specialized software for production, so we optimized at maximum the wood consumption.
The production of the wooden trusses lasted 10 days and the assembly 12 days. The curved shapes of the walls and tower of the church were easily made due to the flexibility of the technology of "welding" with MiTek connectors. The church tower was completely prefabricated and assembled by crane.
